"It's the cover band's recurring nightmare: you have to learn a tune by this weekend's gig, but there's a part that is tearing you up. If you could just slow it down a bit without compromising the pitch, you'd be there. This software lets you isolate difficult phrases and play along with them at a speed you can work with. A "fractional slowdown" feature lets you gradually increase the playback until you've mastered the part. You can listen to a single note or chord indefinitely, plus a ton of other features for instruments and vocals make life easier for working stiffs or beginners."
