| No Sound when Transforming in SlowGold (WinMe, Win98 or Win95)First check the Help>About screen in SlowGold to make sure you are running the latest version (7.7). For information on upgrading click here. Next go through the following list of settings which will solve the problem in most cases. If the problem continues please email us the report requested below. A. Confirm Recording Mode in SlowGold
B. Check
the Properties for your CD ROM drive to make sure that the
"Enable Digital Recording for this CD ROM Device" option is checked.
1. Close SlowGold,

Click the Windows Start Button, then Settings\Control Panel

From the Control Panel double click the System icon
4.
From the System dialog click the Device Manager tab at the top of the
dialog box

From the Device manager tab, click the plus sign next to the CD Rom icon.
The item will expand to show your CD Roms. Locate the one that you use for
CD Audio and right click on it, then choose properties from the menu that
pops up

from the properties dialog of your CD ROM device, choose the Properties
tab and make sure there is a check mark in the "Enable Digital CD
Audio for this CD ROM device" option box.

Also from the Properties tab make sure the Volume for your CD Player
is set high enough.
8.
Click OK, then open SlowGold and try it out again. If digital recording
was previously grayed out in SlowGold, you should check SlowGold's
Settings menu>Recording tab once again to see if you can now select
digital recording.
9. If not able to select it because it is grayed out, continue to Step C.
